Coronavirus Response Update: Classes
Our desire is to safeguard the health of our students, faculty and staff and join the broader community in practicing appropriate social distancing in order to limit exposure to, and the further spread of, COVID-19. To that end we are taking the following steps, effective from March 13 until March 29:
All courses, including those that regularly meet in-person, will be held via Zoom or online. Each course will have a Zoom link embedded in its Moodle course page. Classes will meet via Zoom at their regularly scheduled time.
Senior leaders in the seminary’s administration will continue to meet weekly to determine when we can confidently resume classes on both campuses. A decision regarding classes scheduled to meet from March 30 through April 9 will be made and communicated to the community by March 20.
All planned group gatherings and events on the Littleton campus will be cancelled until April 1. A decision regarding events planned after that date will be made and communicated to the community by March 20.
You will receive emails from the appropriate Denver Seminary community member when necessary. Email subject lines will note that this is a priority. Please regard these emails as a priority and check your DenSem email at least daily.
At this time, classes and events will continue as scheduled. In the event of any cancellation, students, staff, and faculty will be notified by email and the Rave communication system. In addition, notifications will be placed on this web page and the Denver Seminary web page.
We actively monitor the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) website, and the Tri-County Health Department website for updated information.
