Global Student Peter Dusabe

My name is Peter Dusabe, 30, and I live in Uganda. In 2001, I gave my life to Christ at the age of 10 after the tragic loss of my father.

By the Lord’s grace, in 2012 I started Pacesetters’ Initiative for Africa, a youth outreach and evangelistic ministry. In a country where 80% of the population is below 30 years, youth and children ministry cannot be underestimated.

Over the last nine years we have reached out to youth and children in schools and universities across the country through our evangelistic and discipleship campaigns. To serve the Great Commission, we hold school & university fellowships and create community projects to draw youths together and disciple as well as share the gospel with them. In addition, we have a termly newsletter, which is distributed in 100 schools and universities across the country, through which we share the gospel and address some of life’s challenges. We also provide relief aid (food & clothes) to communities faced with hunger & natural calamities, and we are now directly reaching out to refugee youth and children in Africa’s oldest refugee settlement which is located in South western Uganda (Note: Uganda has the highest number of refugees in Africa).

Our goal is to reach God’s people with the message of Jesus and to train and equip missionaries that will spring out of Africa to the rest of the world and make a difference for Christ.
