Important COVID-19 Update

Thank you for all you have done during this challenging semester to keep our Denver Seminary community safe from COVID-19. Your efforts to wear masks in and out of the classroom, socially distance, and make other accommodations over the past few months have not gone unnoticed and are very much appreciated.

In an effort to further protect our community due to increased COVID cases in Colorado and in keeping with new restrictions being put into place by Arapahoe County, we have made the decision to move all on-campus courses to Zoom for the final two weeks of classes, Nov. 30 through Dec. 11.

In addition, building hours will be adjusted accordingly:

  • Graeber Administration Building open to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., beginning Nov. 12. Online appointments are preferred.

  • Classroom Building closed, beginning Nov. 25.

  • The Library, Student Center, and Wild Goose will remain open.

  • The Library will follow these slightly adjusted hours, beginning Nov. 25:

    • Monday: Noon - 9:30 p.m.

    • Tuesday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

    • Wednesday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

    • Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

    • Friday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

    • Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    • Sunday: Closed

We know that Thanksgiving is a time of travel for many and gathering with family and friends may pose a greater risk should we return to campus. Our hope is that by making this adjustment, we will end the fall semester having seen a minimal number of COVID cases on Denver Seminary’s campus. Our track record on keeping our community safe from the spread of the virus is a testament to all you have done.

We are fully committed to holding on-campus courses during the Spring 2021, along with online offerings, and hope that by proactively making this adjustment, we are paving the way to a smooth and safe return in January. Our Littleton community is important to all of us – students, faculty, and staff—and we look forward to coming together again after the holidays.

If you have questions, please reach out to Kristy McGarvey, Dean of Students. We’ll continue to pray for all of our community and the world, as this year ends, and we look forward to all God will bring in 2021.
