MDiv Paper & Oral Exam Info
Updated: Jan 25, 2022
There are two MDiv Doctrinal Examination Orientation Sessions being held the second week of the semester. This summative experience is required of all MDiv students and normally takes place during one of your final two semesters. For many of you reading this email, that's a ways down the road. For others, you may have already successfully navigated your doctrinal paper and oral examination. But it's important you don't wait until the last minute to understand the process. These sessions are especially important if you plan to be involved in the Doctrinal Examination either Spring 2022 or Fall 2022.
In order to help you prepare, every semester we provide Doctrinal Exam Orientation Sessions. You should participate in one of these a semester or two before the one where you will engage the process. There is more information available on the "Student Success" Moodle page. All DenSem students are enrolled in the Success Course so you can go there now and find the info, including days, times, and Moodle link. You'll find this page on the info bar on the left side of your Moodle homepage along with your other courses. Then scroll down until you reach the "MDiv Doctrinal Examination" section. You'll also find documents that will be referred to during the Orientations.
Note: you may attend either face-to-face in classroom #116 or via Zoom.
Important Info
Session 1: Tuesday February 1, 6:30-7:30 pm MT
Session 2: Thursday, February 3, 12-1pm MT
Face-to-Face Location: Classroom #116
Zoom Link: https://zoom.us/j/9173690543
Make one of these a priority if you're approaching the end of your degree program. The sessions are identical so you only have to attend one.
